Chubden

The walk up Chubden is properly steep, but the payoff from the summit justifies the huffing and puffing. If you're camping at River Breamish Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite just down the valley, Chubden makes a solid morning or afternoon outing. The proximity is handy - you're not burning half a day on driving. Pair it with exploring the quieter bits of Northumberland rather than treating it as a standalone destination.
