The church sits in Virginia Water, that rather smart corner of Bracknell Forest where the houses get progressively larger and the lawns impossibly manicured. Christ Church itself is a proper Victorian building, all red brick and purposeful architecture - the sort of place that speaks to a particular era of confidence and expansion. It's worth a look if you're passing through or staying at one of the caravan parks around Chertsey, though it won't keep you occupied for more than thirty minutes unless you're genuinely interested in Victorian ecclesiastical design.

The interior has decent stained glass and the usual period details you'd expect, but this isn't a major historical draw or anything remotely dramatic. What makes it worth the detour is location more than anything else - Virginia Water itself is quietly pleasant, and a walk around the church and down to the nearby village centre works well as a gentle morning out. The local area has enough going on to string together a proper day trip rather than treating this as a standalone visit.

If you're camped at Chertsey Caravan Park or any of the sites within a few miles, the church is close enough for a Sunday morning stroll. Families won't find it particularly exciting unless they're the type to hunt down Victorian buildings, but the walk there and back pays its own way. Check locally for opening times - churches can be temperamental about visitors - but admission should be free. Allow forty minutes if you're thorough, twenty if you're not.
