The walk up Cefn Cyfarwydd rewards you with proper views across the Conwy Valley - the kind that make you understand why people get genuinely excited about North Wales hills. It's not a massive peak by any stretch, but the climb from Llanrwst is steep enough to make your legs know about it, and the summit feels earned once you reach it.

You're looking at a straightforward fell walk rather than a technical scramble. Most people manage the ascent in under two hours, depending on fitness and how many times you stop to catch your breath. The terrain is moorland and grass - nothing treacherous, though it gets boggy after rain. From the top, visibility permitting, you can see right across to the Snowdonia peaks, which puts things in perspective.
