Carnedd Lwyfan Castell Llygoden Platform Cairn

Walking up to Carnedd Lwyfan is less about a dramatic reveal and more about accumulating questions. You're climbing towards what amounts to a Bronze Age burial cairn somewhere in the Powys hills above Llanwrtyd Wells, and the landscape itself becomes the story - bracken, rough grass, the kind of silence that makes you actually listen.

Once you reach it, you're standing at what was likely a platform cairn, constructed around 3,000 years ago as a burial monument.
