Callum Hill isn't much of a climb, but on a clear day from this modest Kent peak you can see right across to the Isle of Sheppey and beyond. It's the sort of place you'd stumble upon while walking the North Downs rather than plan a dedicated trip around, though it does offer decent views if you're in the Sheerness area and fancy a bit of elevation.

The hill itself is straightforward walking - nothing that'll trouble most people, and children will manage it without complaint. You're looking at maybe 45 minutes there and back if you take it leisurely, though you could knock it out in half the time. The real draw is the vantage point. On a grey day, mind you, it's just another patch of Kent countryside, so timing matters.

Don't expect drama or rare views - this is proper everyday English walking terrain, the kind of spot locals use for their morning circuit rather than something that'll make the journey worthwhile on its own.
