Bredwardine Hil

Standing 359 metres above the Wye Valley, this grassy hilltop delivers proper panoramic views across Herefordshire's patchwork countryside. The climb from Bredwardine village below is steep but short - about 20 minutes of steady walking through fields and along ancient footpaths.

From the summit, you'll see the River Wye snaking through the valley, with the Black Mountains rising to the west and Hereford cathedral spire visible on clear days to the east. It's the sort of view that makes the leg burn worthwhile.
