Most people spend an hour here maximum, walking the perimeter if there's a path, just taking in the space. No facilities to speak of, which means you need to be self-sufficient, but that's part of the appeal.

Bransholme works best for keen birders or families with older kids who won't need entertainment every five minutes. The water's the draw, not any building or feature, so manage expectations accordingly. It's free to visit, though you'll want to check locally whether access is always open since it's not a formal park with signage and infrastructure.
