The walk up Braich Anelog from Pwllheli isn't long, but it rewards you with proper views across the Llŷn Peninsula. You're climbing to a modest peak - nothing that'll leave you gasping - but the vantage point over the coastline and out towards Cardigan Bay makes it worthwhile on a clear day.

It's the kind of walk that works brilliantly for families who don't fancy anything too strenuous. Kids can manage it without complaint, and the open moorland means you're not battling through dense woodland. Allow a couple of hours if you're taking your time and want to sit about at the top with a flask. The terrain is straightforward underfoot, though it can be boggy after rain.
