The path itself is well-maintained and fairly level, making it decent for families with younger kids or anyone avoiding anything too strenuous.

What makes it work is the straightforward accessibility and the fact it doesn't try to be more than it is. You're not paying a fortune to stand in a queue. The facilities seem decent enough, though opening hours and admission prices can be a bit mysterious if you ring ahead - best to check before you visit.
