The memorial itself is straightforward: a granite monument with plaques honouring Australian service men and women from various wars. You'll get the most from it if you're interested in military history or have Australian connections. For families with young children, honestly, it's a bit underwhelming - kids will get bored within ten minutes unless you're prepared to explain the history to them in detail.

If you're staying at Lovat Parks just down the road, it's a reasonable add-on when you're in the city for the day - worth a detour if you're nearby, but not worth traveling across London specifically for.
