You won't need more than thirty minutes unless you're genuinely into ecclesiastical detail, though a keen photographer could easily spend longer. The light comes through differently depending on the time of day, so morning visits tend to work better than late afternoon when you're fighting the glare.

If you're based at any of the parks nearby - Wigwam Holidays Orchard Stables and Four Seasons are both within four miles - it's an easy jaunt into Newark town centre. All Saints works best as part of a proper wander around Newark itself rather than a standalone destination. Combine it with the castle ruins and the market square, and you've got yourself a worthwhile morning out.
