All Saints Church, Marazion

The church sits right in the centre of Marazion village with views that stretch across Mount's Bay towards St Michael's Mount - that's the real draw here, honestly. All Saints is a proper working parish church, medieval in parts though it's been rebuilt and patched up over the centuries like most Cornish churches have been.

Inside you get the usual Victorian restorations and a fair bit of stained glass, but it's the location that makes this worth a stop rather than the building itself. On a clear day you're looking straight across at the mount, and on a grey one it's moody and atmospheric in that very Cornish way. The churchyard is pleasant for a wander, especially if you've just walked into town from one of the nearby parks - Foxglove Field Glamping is barely over a mile away, and the church sits handily between there and the seafront.

It's free to visit and there's no time commitment to speak of. You can pop in for ten minutes or spend longer if you're into church architecture. Families won't find it thrilling for long, but if you're already in Marazion for the beach or St Michael's Mount, stepping into the church takes five minutes and breaks up the day. The real appeal is pausing here to appreciate the view rather than spending an hour studying the stonework. Go when the light's decent - late afternoon tends to work best across the bay.
