As these sort of parks go this one has a lot going for it. The grounds are really nicely kept and surrounded by woodland with plenty of nice walks nearby. The caravans/lodges blend in nicely with the surroundings and are placed well so it's not the usual tightly packed rows and rows of white boxes. Sadly bad experience from beginning, we arrived with disabled friends we had booked 2x caravan lodges, 1 was ready at check in, the other wasn’t. They had no idea when it would be ready. My disabled friend asked kindly if when ready they could drop the key down. The reception staff did not want to help with that. The accommodation was compact but perfectly adequate for 2 people. However I'm not sure it be big enough for 4 people. We mainly only used the bar of an evening as we were out most of the day. Staff in the bar were polite and friendly. The entertainment team did a great job with the kids.
