A red-brick Victorian chapel that sits quietly on Albert Road, this Evangelical Church is the kind of building you'd walk past without thinking twice - unless you're into 19th-century religious architecture or happen to be staying nearby. It's solid, no-nonsense Victorian construction, the sort of chapel that served its community for generations and still does, though congregations have shrunk like everywhere else.

The real appeal is context rather than spectacle. If you're based at one of the excellent camping spots around here - Fairhaven or Sweeney Farm are both top-rated and within easy reach - and you're interested in local heritage, it's worth a quick look. Oswestry, the nearest proper town, has far more to offer architecturally, but this chapel tells a quieter story about how ordinary communities organised their faith.

It's free to visit, obviously, though opening hours aren't posted anywhere obvious so you'll need to check locally or catch it from the outside. Twenty minutes maximum unless you're genuinely fascinated by Methodist or Evangelical history.
