Excellent site. Great views. Roomy level serviced pitches. Close to Keswick. Friendly helpful owners. Can't fault it. Will visit again.

Great site and location, very quiet despite being so close to A66. Pros; Shower and toilets very clean, lots of hot water. Whole area covered in slate chippings providing a clean and firm hard standing. Quiet road to Golf Course for clean dog walking and slightly muddy path to local pubs in Threlkelk where dogs are welcome. Cons; cost - a little pricey otherwise would have given 4 stars, no option...

Caravaning mid-December, howling gale, driving rain, ice cold outside ... perfect .. only people on the site but loving it. The toilets / showers are lovely and warm and clean. The site is on stone chippings, so there is no pooling water. It's a lovely quiet site with a short walk to a golf club, which does food and coffee. Easy drive into Keswick and Penrith

Beautiful setting. Wonderful showers strong and hot! Footpath into Threlkeld village. Old railway walk way into Keswick itself about 3 miles each way but steady flat walking. We thought the pitch were large serviced so very easy. Best site we have been to yet in area we usually go for adult only but to fair children well behaved and really nothing for them to do here,a field to play in if they wan...
