Sherwood castle holidays is a great place to spend a family weekend. The cabins are cosy although mine felt slightly run down but have a quaint and nice feel to them. Its a hard one, we booked through wowcha, & when we arrived they didnt have our booking. So they had to quickly sort it. Warmed up the hot tub in 40 mins though so not a problem. The location is lovely for a quiet retreat & the accommodation is lovely a lot around. We had a lodge with open fire so needed to buy wood.
