A fabulous site. Really handy for exploring the Forest of Dean and the Severn Valley region - we did a lovely walk from the site to the river which we would highly recommend. We have just arrived back from a long weekend in Peringue (one of the Shepherd's huts) it was an incredible break and just what we needed. Severn Valley thought of everything with a very thoughtful layout, essentials and comforts to make your stay that extra special. A really lovely campsite. Huge pitches, pristine shower and toilet block, helpful owner. The most incredible sunsets and fun times bat spotting. The only downside was that the showers weren't the best, they kept stopping every 20-30 seconds so having a decent shower was a bit of a faff but it wouldn't stop us staying again. If you want a quiet, no frills campsite, this is the one for you

Beautiful campsite very neat and tidy. Fantastic size pitches/electric hookup. shower block made very homely with little touches like wild flowers, tissues and plenty of hand soaps. Lovely hot water for showering and washing up. Joanne one of the owners kept campsite well mown and rubbish/recycling was removed daily. Really nice to see animals too!
