Oaklea Glamping and Camping

We booked a shepherd's hut when the weather was good but it had changed to wet when our booked date arrived. Site very well kept and facilities are very good. Ideal for a base for touring.

Exceptional! The views are astounding, peaceful and green wide spaces between the hills. Facilities were imaculate, the cleanest I've ever seen. Owners lovely and helpful. We stayed in a shepherd's hut and loved the vintage cosy ambiance inside. Will definitely return and recommend it wholeheartedly.

Stayed on the campsite. Just wow. Massive pitches. Toilets and showers that are the cleanest I have ever seen, washing up room, dog area, pool table to table tennis. Love, love, love this place. Amazing owners as well. Cannot wait to return. Awesome

Unbelievably hospitable and kind hosts who went above and beyond for us during our stay. Spotless throughout the campsite, all facilities were brand new and in perfect condition. Overall just a fantastic place to stay - we will be back again in better weather!

So this was our first time at Oaklea and we are so impressed. A peaceful and rural campsite with beautiful surroundings and scenery. Jane was so accommodating and absolutely lovely. My children who are 9 and 6, were so thrilled as Jane offered to take them to see her farm animals. She allowed the kids to hold the chickens, collect eggs and see the sheep.
