We had a lovely long weekend stay at Netherwood in 2025. The site owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The pitches are well laid out and the facilities good. The site has easy access to the canal and we walked into Chester centre without crossing a road. There are a couple of nice pubs in easy walking distance and a park and ride nearby that we also used. A fantastic independent site with a lovely selection of local pubs, plus a scenic (a flat) walk into Chester via the canal which runs along one boundary – there’s even a private gate onto the towpath! And a friendly welcome awaits from the very helpful owners. Very much look forward to our next visit.

We had a lovely 5 night stay at Netherwood. It was a very peaceful site. The warden was very friendly and welcomed us on arrival. The toilet facilities were clean with a good electric shower. The children enjoyed the wee park and tree swing. We enjoyed walking along the canal path in to Chester.

We were given a brilliant leaflet which included a great map of the local area. We were on a grass pitch close to the gate leading to the canal. In the centre of the pitches there is a shelter with very long hoses to fill your water, and...
