This was the fourth time we stayed at Crossgates Cottage and probably won't be the last. It's a fantastic place to be whatever your age and pursuits. Everything you need for a great holiday is within easy reach of the cottage but the peace and tranquility is awesome! You can't put a price on that! Beats any five star hotel iv stayed at.

Absolutely loved our 2 night stay. Even with the weather not being the best on the first day we were able to enjoy the cozy cabin fire and games provided. Our car got stuck in the mud and our hosts helped immediately. Down on the Farm was an amazing experience! We did the Cows and Coast tour which took us out into the field where we got to hand feed and photograph a beautiful herd. Then we were brought down to the water where we got to explore and photograph some of the most amazing scenery we’ve ever seen. The tour ended with delicious tea and treats, and the highlight for all….getting to hold two day old baby...

We stayed a night at down on the farm and also booked a farm tour and we had the most amazing time! Carole and Mathew are incredibly welcoming and are keen to answer any questions and have plenty advice on the local area.
