Craigtoun Meadows Holiday Park

This is the third time we’ve been to this campsite with our small camper van. It is without doubt one of our favourites, if not THE favourite. It’s lovely and quiet, but for me it’s the toilet block that that it gets top marks for. Stayed in one of the pods for 1 night. From the moment I went into the reception I was so pleased with the place! Friendly staff, clean facilities, and a nice, quiet and comfortable stay. Motorcycle friendly! And I could park my bike outside the pod.

I first stayed at Craigtoun in 1998 and have been back many times with my family over the years. This visit was the first time with my wife and she loved the site. Large campsite for tourers statics and glamping . Immaculately kept site, clean, friendly staff. Would be a great base for exploring around the area, if own transport. Unfortunately leisure facilities not as expected from description. Children's play area very small - suit toddlers but little to occupy older kids. 'Gaming ' room is more of a very small arcade and either kiddies lost money altog...

Lovely site ..needs clearer markings on road in where too stop with caravan!! Staff was sitting outside of side building having a tea break!! . and we got told by a girl you can't park there abruptly!! But once in pitch.. it was lovely and quiet. Toilets and showers was lovely and clean at all times.. the cleaner did an excellent job keeping it clean… Games room bit expensive..
