Excellent touring site in Bury. Right next to the East Lancs Railway that has trains running up and down at weekends. Easy access to bury town center for shopping and dining. The site has friendly staff, a little shop and excellent clean and modern facilities. The laundry is a must on this site for doing you holiday wash and is cheap too. We will definitely be back for another visit in the near fu...

We were greeted by the friendly wardens. The site & facilities are immaculate as always. Situated right next to the country park and East Lancs steam railway line, one weekend is just not long enough to explore it all.

Burrs country park. Absolutely fabulous. 10 minute walk from bury town centre. Took our little mother home stated for 2 nights . Very reasonable prices. Had tea at the brown cow. Homemade cheese and onion pie . Gorgeous. You get to see the classic stream trains go bye.

Stayed for the East Lancashire Railway 200 years weekend. Great to be able to watch the trains from your pitch and a short 5 min walk to the unmanned station. Friendly staff with well kept grounds and facilities including excellent showers. Nice walks around the country park with good cosy pub and tea room near the entrance.
