Bradgate Park

Lovely park the kids had a great time and we even managed to see the deers! No entry fee just parking fees so makes for a great day out. Lovely views and will definitely be going back to explore more. There are lots of different routes and they have a map. There are toilets too.

If you want a walk that feels peaceful but still has a bit of adventure, Bradgate Circular is perfect. You start off on easy open paths with deer wandering around, then it gets more exciting as you climb toward Old John Tower. The park is beautiful. What I didn't like was the amount of dogs off leads near the deers. This included a pit bull. Owners need to be wary at all times as deer are loose everywhere. Great for photographers. I parked in the south woods carpark as it is £2 all day.

What and incredible place! Visit the ruins and the gardens. Take a walk alongside the stream. Or hike up the rocky hills to take in the panoramic views and pay your respects at the war memorial.
