Its a fantastic place to visit, good for little kids and grownups, but not great for teenagers, there is wi-fi but its not very good and cellphone reception is very poor to nonexistent, how ever being Gen X, it was a fantastic trip down memory lane on how holidays used to be back in the 80's & 90's. Stayed at Aspen Lodge for the weekend. Lovely cozy lodge with everything you would need. The on site pub was great too and the bingo on a Friday night was fun with good cash prizes. Food looked good but didn't try it personally. Bottle of wine was £20.

We booked Lemon Tree lodge for a short break, ideal location for exploring Northumberland. The Lodge had everything we needed hot tub 2x bathrooms one with a bath ideal for families with younger children.
