I never feel compelled to write reviews but after our stay last weekend I just have to! We stayed in one of the huts, they're called Hansel and Gretel. Absolutely amazing experience! We were warm and sheltered all weekend. We could park right by the hut, we have a fire pit and a picnic bench and a bed and lights... that's all we needed! Possibly the best campsite we’ve been to. Super relaxed, independence for the kids, clean toilets and showers, well stocked and reasonably priced shop (delicious bags of local cider), and barn with free charging. Very friendly and sociable vibe. We stayed in a woodland pitch for four nights. Would recommend local pub Avon Inn for homemade chips and play area, also beaches Wembury Bay for rockpools...

We had one night on our own before Sister & brother in law joined us for 2 nights, but we were the only people staying due to campsite closing this weekend, so the peace & quiet was so lovely. Sat around our fire basket with a glass or two was so relaxing. The lack of light pol...
