Zenith is the main stage at Boomtown Fair, an electronic music festival held annually near Winchester in Hampshire. If you're camping at one of the nearby sites - Winchester Morn Hill, Holden Farm, or The Spinney - and you've got a festival ticket, this is where the serious dance music happens. It's a proper production: towering sound system, light rigs that'll make your jaw drop, and crowds that know what they're doing.

This isn't for casual listeners. You'll need a festival pass and the stamina to be there when the headliners roll through late into the night. Most people camp here specifically for the festival weekend, not as a day-tripper thing from Winchester town centre. Allow several hours if you're staying for multiple sets; the music runs from afternoon through to dawn.

The vibe is electronic and dance-focused - techno, house, drum and bass, the lot. It draws serious festival-goers rather than families with young kids, though the festival itself has multiple stages catering to different crowds. Go on a clear night and the production values are genuinely impressive. In bad weather it can feel exposed, so waterproofs are essential.
