Working craft brewery tucked away on a proper working farm just outside Ilfracombe - this isn't a slick visitor attraction with gift shops and branded pint glasses everywhere. It's a genuine production site where they're actually making beer. You'll see the brewing operation itself, which is worth the trip if you care about how things are made rather than just what the final pour tastes like.

The setup is fairly straightforward: you can watch the process, learn what goes into their output, and of course buy a drink or two. It's the kind of place where the people running it actually know their craft, which makes a difference. Not a massive visitor experience - don't expect tours lasting hours or elaborate tasting flights - but if you're the type who gets genuinely interested in small-scale production, you'll find it engaging.

Best suited to adults with a genuine interest in brewing rather than families after entertainment. Even then, allow an hour maximum unless you're planning to settle in for a longer session. It works well as part of a broader North Devon crawl if you're staying at any of the surrounding parks - Braddicks and Hidden Valley Touring are both within five miles, so it's an easy stop between beaches and other attractions in the area.
