Walking into Wymark Spinney feels like stepping into someone's carefully tended back garden - except this garden happens to be several hectares of proper woodland just outside Corby. It's the sort of place that doesn't announce itself loudly, which is exactly why it works.

The woodland itself is mixed deciduous trees, the kind of space where you can actually hear birdsong without the background hum of the motorway.
