The moment you step onto the woodland paths at Wyken Croft Nature Park, you're properly away from the Coventry sprawl. This isn't a manicured attraction with visitor centres and gift shops - it's a straightforward patch of West Midlands nature that locals have known about for years while the rest of us drive past oblivious.

The park spreads across mixed woodland and grassland, with trails threading through mature trees and along open areas where you'll spot birds and the occasional deer if you're lucky.
