West Sands Fun Fair Selsey

The fun fair at West Sands sits right on Selsey's seafront, and it's the kind of place that delivers exactly what it promises - rides, arcade games, and the smell of candyfloss. Nothing fancy, but that's rather the point. You've got your standard fair rides, dodgems, and a selection of shooting galleries and claw machines that'll relieve you of a few quid whether you're any good at them or not. Kids aged five to twelve will have a proper time here, though teenagers might find it a touch thin on thrills. The whole thing takes maybe two to three hours if you're not rushing, depending on queues and how many games you fancy.

It's free to wander around and just pay per ride - which means you can dip in and out without committing to an all-day pass. Summer weekends get busy, so going midweek or earlier in the season tends to work better if you prefer shorter queues and being able to actually move about.
