Perched on the eastern edge of Rhossili Bay, this former coastguard station commands one of the most dramatic stretches of the Gower Peninsula. Getting here requires a decent walk from any car park - reckon on at least 20 minutes each way from Rhossili. The path can get muddy after rain, so proper walking boots are essential. Early morning visits reward you with the best light and fewer people jostling for photos.

For families staying at Three Cliffs Bay Holiday Park or Nicholaston Farm, this makes a cracking half-day adventure combined with beach time below.
