Venchen Hill

The walk up Venchen Hill from Coldstream takes you through proper Border country - rolling farmland that opens out as you climb. It's not a massive peak by Scottish standards, but the views across the Borders once you're up there make the effort worthwhile. On a clear day you can see deep into the landscape, rolling hills stretching toward the Cheviot range in the distance.
