Udale Bay View Point

The view from Udale Bay catches you off guard. You're driving through the Highlands near Invergordon, nothing particularly dramatic on the approach, and then suddenly the Moray Firth opens up in front of you with the Black Isle stretching across the water. Families with young kids will manage fine for a quick stop; it's accessible and safe, though there's nothing to keep them entertained beyond pointing at boats.

The nearby holiday parks - Newmore Highland Pods and Delny Glamping both within a few miles - make this an easy addition to a proper Highlands break. Use it as a breathing space between longer walks or excursions into the Black Isle. It's free, open whenever you fancy, and genuinely worth the detour if you're in Invergordon.
