If you're based at The Real Campsite just up the road - which frankly has better reviews than Faringdon Grange - this makes a sensible morning outing before heading elsewhere. Pair it with a walk around Faringdon itself rather than treating it as a full day's attraction. It's not the sort of place you'll drive miles for, but if you're already in the area, it's worth the twenty minutes to see what the local conservation efforts look like.
