The Tamar Art Gallery sits in Callington, a proper little market town that doesn't shout about itself. You'll find contemporary work here - paintings, sculptures, installations - rotating through the year, so there's always something different to see. Families with kids old enough to walk round without needing constant entertainment will be fine, though there's no kids' activities as far as I know. It's the sort of gallery that appeals to couples or solo travellers more than families with under-tens.
