Table Hill

Standing at 1,362 feet above sea level, this flat-topped summit offers one of the finest panoramic views across three counties. From the top, you can see the Severn Valley stretching towards the Cotswolds on a clear day, with Birmingham's skyline visible to the northeast. The climb from Malvern is a proper workout - about 45 minutes of steady uphill walking through woodland and over rocky sections.

Walkers and families with older children will get the most from Table Hill. The path can be quite steep in places, so little ones might struggle, but teenagers will love scrambling over the rocky outcrops near the summit. Dog walkers frequent the lower slopes, though the final ascent requires a bit more commitment.

What makes this peak special is its distinctive flat top - hence the name - which provides an excellent natural viewing platform. Unlike some Malvern Hills peaks that feel crowded, Table Hill often has a more peaceful atmosphere, particularly on weekday mornings.
