Inside there's decent stained glass if you can get in, though hours aren't advertised anywhere obvious, so you might need to ring ahead or try Sunday mornings.

It'll appeal most to church architecture enthusiasts or anyone tracing family connections through Methodist communities - Syston had a strong textile and hosiery industry in its day, and chapels like this were focal points for working families. Kids won't find much to occupy them beyond five minutes unless they're genuinely interested in Victorian building techniques.

The church sits on the edge of Syston village proper, walkable from the town centre if you're staying at one of the nearby caravan parks like Hill Top or Reas Glamping Retreat. Neither is remotely close enough to make this your main attraction, but paired with a ramble through the village and perhaps a pint at a local pub, it makes a pleasant afternoon leg-stretch.
