St Peter's Church, Westleigh

St Peter's Church sits quietly in Westleigh, just a short drive south of Bideford, and it's the sort of place you'd stumble upon rather than plan a trip around. The church itself is modest - a sturdy Devon stone building that's been here longer than most of us care to think about, with that particular feel of somewhere that's genuinely been part of the community rather than preserved for tourists.

Inside, there's the usual medieval character you'd expect: some decent timber work, decent windows, and the kind of peaceful atmosphere that makes you actually want to sit down for five minutes.
