St Michael's Church, Cumnor

The churchyard at Cumnor sits quietly on the edge of the village, about four miles west of Oxford's city centre. St Michael's is a proper medieval church - nothing flashy, just solid English stone that's been here since the 12th century, with bits added and fiddled with right through to Victorian times.

Inside, it's the sort of place where you can actually feel the weight of centuries.
