St Lawrence

The tower of St Lawrence catches you first - that sturdy medieval thing rising above Moreton-in-Marsh, visible from half the town. Step inside and you're greeted by proper Cotswold warmth: honey-coloured stone, a nave that feels lived-in rather than museum-quiet, and the kind of light that makes you understand why people bothered to build churches in the first place.

What you'll find here is mostly 14th and 15th century work, which means the bones of the place are genuinely old.
