St Lawrence Church

The church sits right in the heart of Cirencester, a substantial stone building that announces itself properly without any fuss. St Lawrence is one of those parish churches that rewards a proper look around - the kind of place where you'll spend longer than you expected simply because there's genuinely interesting stuff to see.

Inside, the medieval architecture speaks for itself. High ceilings, decent stained glass, and the sort of carved details that remind you how seriously people took their churches back in the day. Well worth popping in if you're already in town.
