Walkers will find decent trails that loop through different habitats, and the reserve is genuinely quiet even when the weather's decent.

The location near Omagh makes it a natural fit if you're staying at Gortin Glen Glamping - that's barely five miles away, so you could combine a night under canvas with morning walks here. Spring and autumn are best for bird migration; summer can feel overgrown in patches. You'll need an hour minimum, possibly two or three if you're thorough.
