The red-brick Victorian church sitting quietly on the edge of Huntingdon isn't going to stop you in your tracks, but that's rather the point. St Hugh of Lincoln RC Church is the sort of place that rewards a proper visit, especially if you're camping at Grafham Water or St Neots nearby and fancy a break from the caravan.

It's a working Catholic parish church, built in the 19th century when the area was expanding. The interior is straightforward - solid craftsmanship, decent stained glass, nothing flashy. You'll spend twenty minutes here at most, which is exactly the right amount of time. The church is open for prayer and worship, so treat it with the respect it deserves. Call ahead or check the noticeboard for service times if you want to attend.

This works best as part of a wider walk around Huntingdon itself rather than a destination in isolation. The town has the River Great Ouse running through it and Cromwell connections if you're into that sort of thing. From either campsite, you're well positioned for exploring. St Neots is closer if you're there, but Grafham Water has far better facilities overall.

Honestly, unless you're particularly interested in Victorian church architecture or just need a quiet moment away from family campsite life, this isn't essential viewing. But if you're passing through Huntingdon anyway, it's worth ten minutes of your time. Proper local history, done without fuss.
