Inside, there's decent medieval work if you know what to look for: carved roof timbers, a rood screen, the usual run of monuments and memorials that tell you something about who mattered locally. It's not going to keep you occupied for hours, but twenty minutes of quiet wandering beats another lap of the town centre, especially if you're based at West Stow Pods or Kings Forest Caravan & Camping Park and fancy a walk rather than another drive.

Historically minded visitors will get more from it than those just after a quick tick-box visit. Kids aged ten and up might find it interesting if they're the sort to read inscriptions and ask questions. Much younger than that and they'll be ready to leave after ten minutes.

Admission is typically free - you just push the door open during daylight hours - and there's no formal opening times to work around. Best to check locally when you arrive at your campsite, as church access can be variable.
