St. Catherine’s Church

The tower of St. Catherine's Church rises above Faversham's rooftops like a proper medieval sentinel, and it's one of those places that rewards a quiet wander round the churchyard. It's not a showstopper attraction that'll eat up hours, but it's well worth popping into if you're exploring Faversham itself - the town's got a proper heritage quarter with 16th-century timber-framed buildings and a decent high street. Twenty minutes here, then move on to lunch. The churchyard gives you a moment's pause and decent views across the town towards the creek.
