Silloth Motorcycle Museum

Kids might find it mildly interesting depending on their age, but it's really aimed at enthusiasts who can spend time properly examining the machines. The museum sits handily close to Wigton, so it's a realistic add-on rather than a major detour. Stanwix Park Holiday Centre is practically on the doorstep at half a mile away, and Solway Holiday Park is just as near, making this an easy morning activity if you're staying in one of them. North Lakes Country Park is further out at under four miles, so you could string together a decent day combining a few spots. Admission details aren't entirely clear from what I could find, so ring ahead before making the trip. Peak season would presumably be summer, when the weather's decent enough to appreciate the coastal drive into Silloth itself.
