Severn Valley Alpacas

Severn Valley Alpacas is a straightforward affair: you get close to these long-necked creatures, feed them, and if you're lucky, watch them do that ridiculous spitting thing (they rarely do, but the threat alone is half the charm). The animals are well-cared-for and genuinely curious about visitors, which makes for decent photography and genuine interaction rather than just gawping through a fence. Kids absolutely love it - toddlers especially find the alpacas mesmerising, and older children enjoy the hands-on feeding. Even the adults tend to loosen up around them. Allow a couple of hours if you're not in a rush; an hour minimum if you are. It's the sort of place that works best on a quieter weekday rather than peak weekend chaos. The farm sits nicely within striking distance of Bank Farm Holiday Park, just 2.6 miles away, or any of the other parks dotted around the Bewdley area. It's not going to fill a full day on its own, but combined with a walk along the Severn or a poke around Bewdley itself, it slots into a countryside break without effort. Whether admission is free or charged, and exact opening hours, are worth checking ahead - these smaller attractions can be seasonal or need advance booking.
