Seven Acres Row is a proper woodland walk just outside Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight - the sort of place locals know about but casual visitors miss entirely. It's genuine forest, the kind with actual paths winding through mature trees rather than manicured grounds. You'll get some decent shade here, which matters on the island in summer, and the walking is straightforward enough for most fitness levels.

The appeal is simple: trees, quiet, and space to breathe. It's not a destination attraction with viewing platforms or information boards. This is just woodland as it should be. Families with young kids will find it manageable for an hour or so, though there's little to hold their attention beyond the basic "walk in forest" experience. Serious walkers might use it as part of a larger loop around Yarmouth, and it's ideal if you want to escape the seafront crowds for a bit.

Timing-wise, allow 45 minutes to an hour depending on how far you push. Spring and autumn are genuinely lovely - drier underfoot and fewer insects. Summer gets muggy under the canopy.
