The cliffs here give you proper views across Mount's Bay, and on a clear day you can pick out St Michael's Mount sitting out in the water like something from a postcard. It's less than five miles from Helston, so easily tagged onto a wider coastal walk if you're staying in the area.

What you're looking at is a straightforward viewpoint - no facilities, no cafe, no visitor centre. Just a spot where the land drops away and the view opens up. The walk in is gentle enough, nothing that'll have the kids complaining, and you can spend anywhere from ten minutes taking photos to an hour if you sit about and soak it in. On windy days the spray comes up from below, which is either dramatic or slightly miserable depending on your mood.

Walkers and coastal path enthusiasts will find it worth including on a longer route. Families with young children might get restless if you linger too long - there's nowhere to explore beyond standing at the edge and looking out. History types won't find much to grab onto here, though the views themselves are old enough.

If you're camping at Henry's Camp Site or The Secret Garden Glamping nearby, this makes a solid morning or late-afternoon detour before heading back for dinner. It's free, it takes minimal effort, and the bay views genuinely are something special when the weather plays ball. Don't expect solitude in summer, but the crowds thin out quickly in shoulder season.
