The Sarens PSG Stadium is home to one of the Highlands' oldest clubs, and match days bring a real community buzz that you won't find at the megaclubs down south.

If you're into football, catching a Highland FC match here is worthwhile. The atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon is exactly what football should be - passionate locals, proper pies, and none of the pretence. Outside of match days, the ground itself is fairly basic, so unless you're a keen photographer or stadium collector, there's not much to see.

Walking distance from town, it's an easy addition to an Inverness visit, but don't make a special journey just for the stadium. The real draw is combining it with time at one of the nearby caravan parks - Ardtower and Coulmore Bay are both top-rated and only a few miles away. Go Glamping at Loch Ness is brilliant if you fancy something a touch more special, and it's barely further out.
